As part of a new initiative, the Brentano team has created a new program dedicated to giving back. Affectionately naming themselves the “Community Crew,” Brentano employees are setting out to make a difference in the communities around us and beyond. While our team may be small, it only takes one to make a difference.
First on the Community Crew’s list was a volunteer day with Feed My Starving Children, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing nutritious meals to children around the world. Through a global network of food distribution partners, Feed My Starving Children works to deliver meals to communities facing hunger while helping create opportunities for children and families to build brighter futures.
Together, two Brentano teams rolled up their sleeves and packed 281 nutritious meal kits destined for programs around the world.
It was a rewarding day filled with teamwork, laughter, and plenty of packing, all while helping deliver hope and work toward breaking the cycle of poverty, one meal at a time.
