Torigoe simulates basketry with super-strong, piece-dyed nylon yarns. Ideal for headboards or upholstery, the little chevron pattern uses a double-beam construction to reinforce its structure; cotton yarns bind the tape yarns that show on the face and prevent them from sliding — and soften the fabric’s hand. Named for a Japanese town famous for its artful baskets, 54” Torigoe’s 12 subtle colorways reinforce its natural, straw-like look but with heavy-duty performance and an abrasion resistance exceeding 100,000 double rubs (Wyzenbeek, Cotton Duck).
