MBDC Cradle to Cradle (C2C) labeling indicates that a product meets standards set by third-party certifier McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (MBDC). MBDC certification provides companies and consumers with means to credibly measure and evaluate environmentally-intelligent design and eco-friendly products. MBDC certification is determined by many factors, including use of environmentally safe and healthy materials, design for reuse including recycling, use of efficient and renewable energy, water quality and efficiency, and strategies for social responsibility.
